You are a woman that gets things done. I took care of business as well. Doesn't it blow your mind how many of us are happy after all the B.S. we were taught? He went to a memorial with me a couple of years ago (so I could show him off). We got stuck sitting on the front row. All these people I knew all my life walked up to shake his hand and didn't even give me a second look. He'll never go back and neither will I.

I showed this proof to my JW mother. Would you believe she said that Jehovah could've made Jesus live several hours anyway, because he had the power to do whatever needed to be done?!? She still insisted it was a stake.

Yes. I have learned that when I went straight to the BIBLE without any other literature, I finally saw the message. There is a God. There is an evil spirit named Satan who is the best liar in the universe, and just like he convinced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, he has convinced many people that there is a TRUE religion. He even convinces them of the benefits they will reap if they join it and never screw up. I have learned that I received a chance of eternal life just for being in existence. It is already bought and paid for. All I am required to do is have love for my fellowman and the one who saved my worthless little butt. THAT'S IT!

it's an absolutely flawless day here in the pacific northwest.
not a cloud in the sky, light breeze, afternoon highs to reach 80 f. we take our share of deserved jabs about our bad weather, but when it's good here, it's very, very good.
The thought of 3 long days at the Astrodome, not to mention the hour walk to and from the car is something I do not miss. Just to have to sit there and hear about people twice my age who have pioneered for 30 years and those CORNBALL DRAMAS. I have the most hilarious picture that a friend of mine took one year of me, my husband and daughter. ALL THREE OF US ARE SOUND ASLEEP IN OUR SEATS!!!! Now that would be a neat cover picture for the Watchtower.

don't be too surprised if soon when you read a latest wt or go to their meetings that all you hear is some of the standard evangelical xtian stuff like grace, faith, kindness, mercy etc and no (and i mean no) endtimes crap, organsation or fds anymore.. btw this prediction is not in the name of god.

had very loyal and active dub parents... there was just no question growing up that i was going to pioneer, reach out for privileges, etc.

I'm sorry about the way I worded that. They had just as much control over my life as I would like to recall. I am glad you got to have "the real thing". I have a very open mind when it comes to sexual desires. I don't want to get detailed here but I think if you were to examine every sin listed in the bible, having sexual relations with someone you really care about is something I have never been able to view as a "sin". It is a normal human function. Sex is the real reason I got married at 17. My daughter will not ever get trapped like that because I have allowed her to experience this type of thing (responsibly) and now she can look past "the honeymoon" mentality.

I can tell by your posts that you and Thunder are very happy together. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I just wish there was a way to reach all of those young ladies out there that think everything will be fine because they are marrying a Witness boy/man.

Ya know what I find strange? How, pray tell, would a JC even know a person was doing this in the first place? Maybe I have been out so long and have found out what having a private life is all about, that I have forgotten about pathetic little dweebs who feel the need to spill their guts every few weeks to the Elders. Geesh! Don't they need two witnesses to press these charges or is that just for child molester's. I can never keep track of all thier policies.
